MLS stands with the Black Community

The Major League Soccer (MLS) have called off its’ remaining matches as protests continue in the United States following the shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man, by police on Sunday in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

In the wake to the shooting of an African American citizen, Jacob Blake, the Major League Soccer has decided to cancelled all remaining games that were due to kick-off on Wednesday.

Blake, a 29-year-old African American, was shot and injured by police on Sunday in front of his children with protests since breaking out in Wisconsin and across the country. 

Although some matches have been played in the league this week, fans, and players have called on the Board to cancel the league as they take a stand to support demonstrate their support to the black community.
