Aubameyang pens down a deal with Arsenal


Gabonese and Arsenal’s captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has penned down a 3 year sensational deal with the Gunners.

Aubameyang is expected to receive £250,000 per week for the next three years.

Aubameyang now becomes the second-highest paid player at Arsenal with Mesut Ozil still being the highest paid player with £350,000 per week.

The 31-year-old attacker, has been a vital player for Arsenal having secured the FA Cup last season.

After exiting Borussia Dortmund for a fee of 60 million euros in January 2018, Aubameyang has scored 72 goals in 111 appearances.

In an interview with Arsenal’s official website, he said, “Signing for this special club was never in doubt, It’s thanks to our fans, my team-mates, my family and everybody at this club that I feel like I belong here. I believe in Arsenal. We can achieve big things together. We have something exciting here and I believe the best is to come for Arsenal.”

Aubameyang’s contract extension have given Arsenal the boost as they’ve began their premier league campaign.

Arsenal beat Fulham by 3 goals to nil to open their premier league campaign and are set to face West Ham on Saturday.
