Vardy has officially signs a new three-year contract with Leicester City

With the transfer market booming up, It’s important for clubs to shield off their talismen from the market.

Jamie Vardy has been with the Foxes since 2012, scored 130 goals and made 310 appearances. Having won the 2019/20 Golden boot campaign with 23 goals, he entered the Premier League 100 Club.

In the 2015/16 campaign, the forward was very instrumental for the foxes as they clinch the league title. He was named Premier League Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year in that same year.

On his new contract, Vardy said: “The journey that I’ve been on with this football club is hard to describe, and although we’ve accomplished so much together already, I know that I’ve got so much more to achieve with this team, so it’s a special feeling to be able to commit my future to Leicester City once again”.
