Ghanaian Sports To Return Soon.

The President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo, has announce that football and other contact sports would be resuming soon after months of restrictions.

At the 16th National Address yesterday, the President said, ” In the next couple of weeks, a decision will also be taken on the resumption of contact sport including football”.

Many football lovers welcome the President address as they are anticipating the return of football made in Ghana and other contact sports.

“As a known lover of football, I know how devastating its absence has been and it’s my hope that very soon, we will all have the pleasure of playing and watching the beautiful game again”- said the President.

Close to 5-months now, football and other sports have been absent in the country due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

The easing restrictions on sports would see the return of the Ghana Premier League, other sporting activities and most importantly, the National teams as they prepare for international competitions.
