Harry Maguire sentenced by a Greek court.

Manchester United and England defender, Harry Maguire has been given a 21-month suspended sentence by a Greek court after he was convicted of all charges following the incident in Mykonos.

The 27-years old defender was found guilty of assaulting police, verbal abuse, and attempted bribery by the Greek court.

After an alleged fight last Friday while he was on holiday in Mykonos, United’s captain, Maguire has denied all the charges leveled against him.

However, Manchester United have revealed that the verdict handed to the club’s captain would be appealed as they call for a ‘full and fair hearing’ into the defender’s case.

Following the incident in Mykonos, England manager, Gareth Southgate, has axed Harry Maguire from England’s call-up list in the upcoming UEFA Nation League tournament.
